All the skill assessment sessions are accessed using a username and password.
Administrators can control the assignment of passwords at any time. Test
sessions are only available once for the candidate, and cannot be re-accessed
after completing a session. Results are always confidential and secure.
ReviewNet skill assessments are only available under license to bona fide
employers. ReviewNet cannot be purchased by candidates or trainees. ReviewNet
believes that controlling the access to the assessments keeps candidates from
"practicing" on the assessments, and makes the skills assessment more valuable
and reliable for our customers.
ReviewNet tracks the time taken to successfully complete each question and the
overall assessment for each individual. Assessments can have a time limit
enforced at the option of the user. Situations in which remote test takers took
excessive time are identified, and flagged for follow up and review.
The ease and logistical value of administering remote tests is undeniable.
However, verifying that a remote session was answered by the appropriate
individual without outside help can be a challenge for a hiring organization.
ReviewNet provides multiple levels of support for verifying remote test takers.
In addition to On-line Interviewing
functionality. ReviewNet also provides a simple Verification Session for any
skill assessment administered to a candidate. It works like this. A
verification session is a "retest" of the earlier conducted skill assessment,
however, only questions that the candidate answered quickly and correctly are
included. If the original test taker is genuine, they should be able to
substantially repeat the performance on this subset of questions that they have
already demonstrated mastery. The verification session can be administered
remotely or in-office, the same way a regular ReviewNet session is conducted.
With Verification sessions, the reliability of remote testing is greatly
enhanced.
