HANOVER, N.H. Airs,
an Internet recruitment training and information
portal, has struck a deal with ReviewNet in which the
Jenkintown, PA-based company will link Airs' Newsfeed
to its site and allow users and visiting recruiters to
access the information from a dedicated link.
ReviewNet will also host daily e-recruitment news on
its site.
ReviewNet provides solutions to help companies not
only recruit workers, but also to screen, interview,
test, train and retrain either potential or current
employees. "Airs and ReviewNet have closely
allied philosophies and missions about serving and
satisfying recruiters with information and tools that
make their positions more productive and their work
lives more successful," said Alan Fiermonte, vice
president of business development with ReviewNet.
"Airs is one of the best-in-breed leaders without
a doubt."
Airs has also teamed with St. Louis-based Sendouts.com,
a company that offers an applicant tracking system.
Sendouts.com will offer Airs' SearchStation, a suite
of candidate data mining tools directly through its
Sendouts Pro applicant tracking system.
Through Sendouts Pro, recruiters will be able to find
inactive candidates who meet specific skills criteria
in both free and commercial resume banks, company and
college Web sites, Internet communities and discussion
groups. Once a candidate is found, the recruiter can
download the resume information into the Sendouts Pro
tracking system. "The addition of Airs
SearchStation will give users of Sendouts Pro ability
to search half a billion Web pages for passive
candidates, upping the chances of finding qualified
candidates exponentially," said Don Breckenridge,
Jr., president of Sendouts.com.
Airs has also recently released two new Search Guides
designed to help human resource professionals and
recruiters. Ten Search Guides, a print publication
similar to a magazine, are produced yearly with each
issue focusing on a different technique for searching
for qualified workers. "The Internet changes
daily and search techniques need to keep up with the
times," explained Airs spokeswoman Laura Jean
Whitcomb. "Over 500 people use the Search Guide.
"Whitcomb explained the Search Guide is a tool in
Airs' overall technique of teaching recruiting
techniques. The company's biggest tool is recruiting
seminars held monthly across the country. "We
have several recruiters who attend our seminars and
want to get the Search Guide as an update to their
classroom learning or share with other recruiters in
their office," explained Whitcomb.
